Situated in the center of the Bohai Sea Economic Ring, the gateway to mainland China, ZIEP lies at the crossroads of some of China’s most convenient and modern transport networks, highways, railways, airports and an international seaport.

ZIEP sits in the eastern part of Hebei Province, an integral part of the District of Cangzhou City, 240 km from Beijing Capital International Airport and 80 km from Tianjin International Airport, and neighbors upon Tianjin Binhai Area – currently the fastest growth area in mainland China – and Tianjin Seaport - the biggest cargo port in Northern China.

At ZIEP, Huanghua Seaport’s hinterland covers a significant part of Hebei, Shandong, Shanxi, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia and Gansu Province, including over 40 cities, 330 counties, and a total surface of about 0.8-1 million km2, with the total population of  140 million and the total GDP above RMB180 billion (US$ 26.4 billion).
