Zhongjie International Economic Park’s logistics infrastructure has been designed specifically to meet the demands of contemporary manufacturing enterprises, urban infrastructure projects, high-tech industries, commerce, warehousing, services, joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned companies.
ZIEP will directly benefit from the national key construction projects of Yellow River Water Diversion Project and West-East Gas Pipeline project.
Transportation
ZIEP is connected by 4 railways and 5 major highways, only 45 minutes away from Tianjin, and 90 minutes away from Beijing via China’s newest and fastest bullet train line (Beijing – Tianjin)
ZIEP also enjoys good service provided by one of China’s biggest seaports at Huanghua, which is 30 km away from the Park and 480 nautical miles from Seoul, Korea and 900 nautical miles from Kyushu Port in Japan.
ZIEP is a fast-growing distribution center for materials circulation and an important bridge for international market. Furthermore, national authorities have certified Huanghua Seaport as a first-class fishing port, where additional investment and fishery development projects have been approved.
Power supply
ZIEP has a plentiful energy supply from several in situ power plants (hydropower, coal, wind and solar energy). It has one 220KV, two 110KV and six 35KV substations, providing abundant, and low-cost electricity. A total investment of RMB 5 billion (US$ 732 million) on the key national Cang Dong Guohua 4.8 million KW capacity power plant project (with the first installation of 2 × 0.6 million KW already completed) will ensure future power demands of large-scale industrial projects.

Water
Water is essential for the establishment and operation of any industry. ZIEP benefits from extensive water supply lines (Cangzhou Dalangdian Reservoir - Huanghua), with capacity of 200,000 m3 water daily. The Park’s modern water treatment plant has a daily processing capacity of 50,000 tons. Also at the developmental stage, desalination is to be a cornerstone of ZIEP’s water supply program in the coming years, to support multiple applications such as industry, irrigation, and drinking water.
Communication
The Park benefits from state-of-the-art communication services, including a large high-speed Internet network and an advanced data transmission system.
